If you look closely you can see that a skin contains many colours. Therefore, keep a close look on the face you are painting. What colours do you see?

The Caput Mortuum Violet is a pure deep purple, but there are many shades in it! Try mixing these with white or Yellow Ochre. Dare to mix, only then you will achieve a large palette with just a few colours.
A face consists of all parts that have different colours and where the light falls on differently. That is why it is useful if you focus on one part at a time.

Acrylic paint dries quickly and is easy to paint over. Therefore you can easily draw up a sketch with a colour of your choice, diluted with some water. If you have the contours somewhat correct, you can start filling.
