Fabriano Cromia Paper stands out as a versatile fine arts colour paper, designed to accommodate a diverse range of painting and drawing techniques. Comprising 50% cotton, it boasts exceptional durability, resisting scratches, tears, and erasures, while featuring two deckled edges for added texture. Cromia’s surface mirrors that of a watercolour cold pressed surface, making it suitable for both wet and dry techniques, including watercolour, pastel, pen and ink, mixed media charcoal, coloured pencil, and gouache. Renowned for its archival quality and high lightfastness, Cromia ensures long-lasting artwork. Available in various lightfast colours, each sheet measures 50 x 65cm and is sold in packs of two sheets per colour, with a paper weight of 220gsm. It is manufactured on a traditional cylinder mould machine.  This one of-a-kind process replicates the typical characteristics of handmade paper allowing the fibers (cotton and pure alpha-cellulose in the case of Cromia paper) to spread gently and randomly to form a soft and homogeneous sheet of paper.
