It is compatible with various mediums including watercolors, watercolour sticks, acrylics, inks, paint markers, permanent markers, and spray paints. To enhance the paint transfer to the canvas, it is recommended to wipe down the entire surface of the canvas with a very wet cloth ten minutes before painting. For loose painting styles, it is advisable to staple or adhere the canvas to a hardboard such as Gator board, foam core, or plywood to prevent buckling.
