Silver Winsor & Newton Drawing Ink 14ml

  • Winsor & Newton Drawing Inks are fast drying, water resistant & transparent, this allows the overlaying of different colours for attractive optical colour mixtures.
  • All the colours are water resistant except Liquid Indian Ink Gold and Silver.
  • They are formulated from a series of soluble dyes in a superior shellac solution.
  • Winsor & Newton Drawing Inks can be applied with brush, dip pen or airbrush and are widely used by designers, calligraphers and artists as well as illustrators.
  • The colours can be easily diluted with water to reduce the strength of the colour or to increase it’s transparency.

DRAWING INKS AND WATER RESISTANCE

Winsor & Newton Drawing Inks are all water-resistant apart from Liquid Indian Ink, Gold and Silver. However, all the coloured inks are made from dyes that can bleed out into subsequent washes. The degree of bleeding varies from colour to colour and with the amount of water used so it is recommended that you test chosen colours before using them on your artwork.

Bright, rich colour
Add vibrant and rich colour to your next project with these high quality inks. Explore the range of tones in each ink by mixing with other colours and with water.

Versatile
Fast-drying, and water resistant our drawing inks can be used with a brush, dip pen or airbrush.

Intermixable
All colours in the range are intermixable. But Gold and Silver should only be added to other inks in small quantities, to avoid thickening. In addition, mixtures of Gold and Silver should not be stored, as they may create an adverse chemical reaction.
