Terms and Conditions

Welcome to our shop! If you visit our shop it means that you automatically accept all these terms and conditions. Please carefully read all information concerning our guidelines, terms and agreements.

Nowadays it is very important to care about the information because we are living in the informational society, and you can’t underestimate the way information will be used and shared. Trust is the cornerstone of friendship, and we appreciate your decision to choose our store. We are giving you full access to different types of information concerning your account.
Additionally, please note that our website contains numerous trademarks which can belong both to our company and third-party companies. Using the logos, icons and service names is prohibited in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among our customers and will be considered a violation of copyright law. We reserve the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time without prior notifications. Our company is located in South Africa and the laws of the country shall govern any interpretation of these terms and conditions.

Shipping and Delivery

All orders are shipped using our shipping agent of choice, The Courier Guy. Orders will be delivered within the time frame advertised during checkout as per your chosen shipping method.
You will be responsible for the shipping costs to return your item(s).
You will be responsible for arranging the shipping from your end(s).

Courier Damage

Should your parcel show any signs of tampering or courier damage, please ensure you document this on the Waybill when you sign to receive your delivery.
Unfortunately refunds or credits will not be granted for tampering or courier damage if you have not indicated this on the waybill when signing in acceptance of the parcel.

Exchanges

Exchanges will only be made for damaged or defective products. Proof of damage needs to be established and the item will need to be returned to MAS for inspection. Products deemed to be a manufacturing default will be replaced at no additional shipping costs to you.
Sale Items: Under no circumstances will any sale items be refunded.
Out of Stock: Out of stock items will be credited / refunded.

Return Policy

Please ensure you are happy with your purchase as plus size shipping items will only be considered for a return/ refund if they are faulty or defective. Under no other circumstances may these items be returned.

All refunds are at the sole discretion of the members of MAS and may be granted or declined as the discretion of the members. Our refund policy lasts for strictly 30 days from date of payment. No refunds will be granted for items purchased outside of the 30-day policy.
Proof of purchase must be emailed through with your refund request.
For refunds to be considered, your item must be unused and in the original undamaged packaging it arrived in. Once your return is received and inspected on our end, we will send you and email to advise you on the approval or rejection of your refund.
Your refund will be made once an outcome has been reached.

Postage is not refundable and customers are responsible for all associated shipping/delivery costs. If the product is defective, we will send you a replacement free of charge, but only once we receive the defective product from you. In order to accept your returned item, please ensure that you contact us via email beforehand.

The pricing listed on this site is the price you will pay for the items, promotions are advertised on the site and all payments are done via credit, debit or other payment method catered for by our website.

All orders can only be done online via this website. We do not allow collections, telephonic or email ordering at this time. Should this change we will update our site accordingly.

Please remember to include your order number and details for swift responses and order verification.

Our website www.myartshop.co.za sells art supplies online. The use of any product bought from this website is at the purchaser’s (buyers) own risk. The purchaser / user indemnifies and holds the provider harmless against any loss, injury or damages which may be sustained as a result of using the products sold on the website.

The private information required for executing the orders placed through our e-commerce facility, namely the user’s personal information and credit card details, delivery address and telephone numbers will be kept in the strictest confidence by the Provider and not sold or made known to third parties. Only the necessary information, that is the delivery address and contact phone number will be made known to third parties delivering the product. Credit card details are not kept by the Provider under any circumstances. www.myartshop.co.za currently makes use of PayFast for its transaction provision using their securely encrypted site for User protection.

The Provider cannot be held responsible for security breaches occurring on the User’s electronic device (Personal Computer or other electronic device used to browse our Website), which may result due to the lack of adequate virus protection software or spyware that the User may inadvertently have installed on his/her device.

The Provider will supply all goods to the delivery company in good order. The Provider will not be held liable for the condition of goods arriving at the User’s chosen delivery address.
